Our supply of food depends on diesel powered tractors

Globally, tractors generate around 1% of global CO2-e emissions. Government initiatives that increase diesel prices in an attempt to limit climate change will drive up the price of food and until now, alternatives to diesel tractors were unaffordable if even available.

Biomass equivalent to 7% of global energy use is lost to fire every year

Biomass is an undervalued carrier of energy with an electricity-equivalent energy density 4x that of Li-ion batteries. Current open air burning causes widespread air pollution and unused biomass decays to release methane, both affecting the climate.

CO2 emissions from AgLoco™ manufacturing are 3x lower than electric tractors while the carbon reducing impact of one 50 hp AgLoco™ is equivalent to 66 ha of regenerating native forest in NZ. AgLocos™ are affordable and scalable not least because they require next to no infrastructure.

Biomass is sunlight that nature has captured and stored in solid form, controlled combustion of biomass does not add carbon to the carbon cycle.
